I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Enamul Haque when he was the Global Technical Director for our Transportation Global Business Unit at Bostik. I found Enamul to be a very innovative and disciplined technical leader whose leadership style was collaborative and highly team oriented. Enamul was both customer focused and sensitive to the needs of the manufacturing groups which he and his team supported. He has a wealth of specialty materials experience and when combined with his innovative and disciplined approach to problem solving, is very effective externally with customers and internally with manufacturing. Enamul is a pleasure to work with. 

Enamul Haque was my top scientist at AZDEL Composites (a GE / PPG Joint Venture). I was proud to serve as a supporting reference for his nomination to be an SPE Fellow. Enamul combined his extensive knowledge of thermosets and thermoplastic composites to generate several new product concepts. Most notable was his inventiveness in creating AZDEL SuperLite®. It revolutionized how the business looked at products, emphasizing light weight, along with stiffness. 

Enamul Haque is a very skilled and effective technology executive with demonstrated ability to manage a global technical team and deliver results in very challenging environments. Enamul’s customer focused approach to business was invaluable to me in conceiving and implementing new business development plans and acquisition strategies. His open, collaborative style encourages communications on both a global and cross-functional basis. He is innovative and promotes an environment on his team that encourages innovation. Enamul was instrumental in the implementation of the Stage-Gate business process in the Transportation Division of Bostik. Having been a part of leading-edge developments and commercial successes in composites, he has brought that same drive and enthusiasm to Bostik in the adhesives and sealants area.  

I have known Enamul since he joined the  SPE Composites Division in late 90’s. I can say with enthusiasm that he always was a positive influence and was diligent in performing whatever task he took on for the society and the division. During the years we've been friends, I would often ask for his technical advice and use his strong knowledge and recommendations as a resource. He never let me down. His knowledge is deep and true. He is also creative, open minded and willing to invent when necessary to get the job done. His critical thinking is a bonus that he provides to any project or opportunity. Anyone who considers using him as a resource will be assured that he will do a super job for them and get the benefits of his experience, knowledge, critical thinking and creativity. He can get the job done!
